Thomas E. Wilson

Thomas E. Wilson of Vienna passed away on June 28, 2021, at 10:46 p.m. in his residence. He was 81.

Mr. Wilson was born in Warren on June 2, 1940, the son of the late George and Ann Montgomery Wilson.

He was a graduate of Vienna High School. Following high school, Mr. Wilson proudly served our county in the U.S. Army. In 1964 he married his love, Marilyn McKitrick Wilson, who passed away on February 19, 2020.

Thomas retired from Packard Electric. He attended Pleasant Valley Church. In his spare time, he loved traveling with his wife, spending the hotter months at their cottage in Canada and being on the lake. In the colder months they would hibernate to Florida. He was an avid fisherman and was known to catch enough fish to feed all his neighbors at his cabin. He also discovered a love of slot machines after his retirement.

Mr. Wilson is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Chieffo of Liberty and her companion Carl Chalker; a daughter in law, Shauna Wilson of Columbus; a sister, Darlene (Lee) Davis of Lordstown; a brother, Dennis (Debbie) Wilson of Lordstown; 4 grandchildren, Ashlyn, Anna, Hunter and Ella; and 2 great grandchild, Hazel and Gavin.

In addition to his wife and parents, Thomas was proceeded in death by his son Steven, and his brother Ronald.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 10, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at New Life Christian Fellowship at 2088 Tibbetts Wick Rd., Girard, OH 44420.
