Patricia A. (Limongi) Fuentes

Patricia A. Fuentes of Niles, passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at 12:39 p.m. in St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center. She was 72.
Patricia was born in Niles on October 25, 1944, the daughter of the late Louis and Mafalda Gonella Limongi.
She was a 1963 graduate of Niles McKinley High School. Following high school, Patricia earned her cosmetology license.
Mrs. Fuentes was employed as a cosmetologist for over 40 years. She was a high respected cosmetologist, she worked for Orr’Dell’s Beauty Shop in Niles and operated a beauty shop out of her home for many years.
Patricia was of Catholic faith. She was an aid at Belmont Pines and in her spare time, she was a long-standing member of the St. Stephens Catholic Women’s Club. She enjoyed cooking, playing bingo, and cherished the time she spent with family and friends. Patricia and her husband Juan were members of the (GWTA & GWRRA) Honda Goldwing Association , through the club they had the wonderful opportunity of traveling while riding their Honda Goldwing. Earlier in life, Patricia never missed an opportunity to be involved in her children’s school and social functions.
She is survived by her husband, Juan Fuentes, whom she married June 21, 1996; 3 sons, Richard (Amy) Shenal Jr. of Brunswick, OH, Jody Shenal of Niles, and Michael Shenal and his companion Chuck O’Neill of Columbus, OH; 2 step children, Juan Fuentes of Columbus and Gina (Troy) Blevins of St. Augustine, FL; 4 siblings, Paul (Kathy) Limongi of Boardman, Catherine Cera of Niles, Louis (Ruth) Limongi of Brookfield and James (Terri) Limongi of Wellington, FL; 4 grandchildren, Kayla, Dylan, Blake, and TyTy. Patricia will also be missed by Cathy, Vicki, Anthony of Columbus, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.

Calling hours will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Monday, October 23, 2017 in the Wm Nicholas Funeral & Cremation Services LLC 614 Warren Ave. Niles, OH 44446.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 23, 2017 at 8:30 p.m. in the funeral home with Fr. James Korda of St. Stephen Church.
Private interment will take place in Niles City Cemetery.
