Kenneth "Kenny" C. Jones Sr.

Kenneth C. Jones Sr of Niles passed away on Monday, April 30, 2018 at 6:03 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Hospital. He was 73.

Kenny was born on November 17, 1944 in Austintown, the son of the late Glen and Edith Reinhart Jones.

He attended Austintown School Systems.

Earlier in life Kenny was employed at Rockwell Automotive and Luxair. For the past 22 years, alongside his wife, Kenny owned and operated Walter’s Bar in Warren. Kenny always made people feel at home in his family run establishment.

Mr. Jones was an avid NASCAR and Cleveland Browns fan. He enjoyed a good game of pool or darts and was an active member of the APA Pool League. Most importantly he cherished spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Garnet I. Angell Jones whom he married April 28, 2005. They recently celebrated 13 years of marriage this past Saturday; 4 daughters, Deborah Strawn of Niles, CaTina (James) Canzonetta of Cortland, Lori and Brandi; 4 sons, Michael Wilson of Warren, Kenneth Jones Jr. of Austintown, Scott Jones of Lake Milton, and Patrick Jones of Lake Milton; a sister, Lynda Findlay; a brother James Jones; 11 grandchildren, Casey, Rachael (Forrest), Kristen, Shawn, Elena, Michael, Christopher, Ian, Makayla, Samuel, and Luke; 1 great grandchild.

In addition to his parents, Kenny was preceded in death by a daughter, Angella Mahan; a brother, Glen Jones.
