Zane H. Isenberg

Zane H. Isenberg, 82, of Warren, died 11:00 PM Wednesday, January 3, 2007 at Forum Health - Trumbull Memorial Hospital. He was born October 18, 1924 in Houtzdale, Pa., the son of Paul E. and Rebecca M. (Bickel) Isenberg.

Mr. Isenberg was a 1950 graduate of Indiana University and a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army. He had worked as a manager in retail sales, including 25 years with Grant Co., and also worked for Stambaugh-Thompson and Cap's Lumber. He was a 60-year member of the Masonic Lodge in Batavia, N.Y., and recently celebrated that milestone with fellow Masons in the Warren area. He enjoyed traveling, especially overseas. He also liked to watch sports on television, and as a Hoosier, enjoyed watching games featuring Coach Bob Knight.

Surviving are his wife, Joyce M. (Evans) Isenberg, whom he married November 20, 1947; a daughter, Linne S. Hoyt-Kerns of Houston, Tex.; a son, Stephen P. Isenberg of Eastlake; two grandchildren: Brenda and Brian Hoyt; and two great-grandchildren: Gypsy and Travis Hoyt.

A memorial service will be held 5:00 PM Sunday, January 7, 2007 at First United Methodist Church, with Rev. Rick Oaks officiating. Friends may call 3:00 to 5:00 PM Sunday at the church. Material contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church, 309 N. Park Ave., Warren, Ohio 44481.
