William "Frank" Isner, 72, of Weathersfield, died Sunday, November 1, 2009 at Mahoning Valley Hospital in Warren, He was born March 6, 1937 in Elkins, W. Va., the son of Wilbert and Zeta (Flanagan) Isner, and was raised in Baltimore, Md. before moving to Ohio.
Mr. Isner worked at Bethlehem Steel before working as a custodian for Warren City Schools at East Junior High, Emerson, and Horace Mann elementary schools. A jack of all trades, he enjoyed sports and fishing, and could generally be found fixing something or cutting someone's lawn.
Surviving are his wife, Margo (Taylor) Isner, whom he married October 6, 1984; four children: Allen (Sandra) Isner, William F. Isner, Jr., and Matthew Sullivan, all of Baltimore, and Shawn Taylor of Warren; two grandsons, Ty and Jacob Taylor; a great-granddaughter; a sister, Helen (Abe) Taylor of Seaford, Delaware; and a brother, Neil (Mary) Isner of Cheyenne, Wyoming. Preceding him in death are his parents, a sister, and a brother.
Services are 12:00 noon Friday, November 6, 2009 at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, with Rev. Yesudas Devadan officiating. Entombment will follow at Crown Hill Burial Park. Friends may call 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
