William W. Boyd

William W. Boyd, Jr., 61 of Howland, died 4:14 PM Saturday, May 6, 2006 in Forum Health - Trumbull Memorial Hospital. He was born Friday, July 28, 1944 in Warren, Ohio, the son of William Weldon and Rose Grimshaw Boyd, and had lived in the Warren area his entire life.

He worked as Supervisor of Power Distribution for WCI Steel, and also taught engineering at the Trumbull Career and Technical Center. He was a member of Christ Episcopal Church, the Mahoning Valley Old Car Club, the Packard Club, and Howland Scope. He had worked with Little League and was an advisor to Junior Achievement for over 20 years. He loved his family and his cats.

Surviving are his mother, Rose Boyd of Warren; his wife, Peggy (Thomas) Boyd, whom he married July 27, 1988; four children: David W. Boyd of Cortland, Karen Rose (Jim) Milner of Coppers Cove, Texas, Roger (Susan) Boyd of Branson, Mo., and Donald C. Boyd of Mineral Ridge; 4 step-children: William T. Law of Niles, Cheryl Renee (Michael) Martini of Vienna, Debbrah L. (Mark) Rawlings of Niles, and Jason Ryan Law of Howland; 5 grandsons: Anthony L. Boyd, Anthony J. Boyd, Jonathan T. Milner, Nicholas J. Ceo, and Jared D. Rawlings; 4 Granddaughters: Tiffany A. Boyd, Chloe Boyd, Cierra D. Ceo, Zoey M. Rawlings; a brother, Robert W. Boyd of Howland; and a sister, Roselyn B. (Roger) Carnahan of Liberty. Preceding him in death is his father, William Weldon Boyd.

Services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 10, 2006 at Christ Episcopal Church, 2627 Atlantic St. N.E., Warren, Ohio 44483, with Rev. Donna L. Maree officiating.
