Willard G. Headley

Willard G. Headley, Jr., 86, of Warren, died at home Friday, August 10, 2007. He was born January 6, 1921 in New Jersey, the son of Willard G. and Emma (Zippler) Headley, Sr., and had lived in Warren for about a year, coming from Port Hueneme, Calif.

Mr. Headley had been a communication cable supervisor for the Department of Water and Power in Los Angeles, Calif. for 40 years. He also served with the U. S. Marines in World War II.

Surviving are his daughter, Jackie M. Shepherd of Warren; a son, James L. Marsh of Kingman, Ariz.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Preceding him in death are his parents; his wife, Anne Headley; and a brother, John Headley.

At his request, cremation will take place. Private memorial services will be held in California at a later date.
