Wilbur O. Davis

Wilbur O. "Curly" Davis, 75, of Warren, died 3:15 AM Tuesday, April 4, 2006 at Windsor House of Champion. He was born March 3, 1931 in Warren, the son of Levi and Leora Tompkins Davis, and had lived in the Warren area his entire life.

He had worked as a strander for Copperweld Steel, retiring in 1990 after 31 ½ years of service. He enjoyed bowling and camping, and was a past-president of the Champion Lions Club.

He will be sadly missed by his wife, Lois Jessup Davis, whom he married June 15, 1957; his daughter, Pamela (Carmen) Cutlip of Champion; and a sister. Preceding him in death are his parents, a brother and a sister.

Services will be 10:00 AM Friday, April 7, 2006 at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, with Pastor Frederick M. Keener of the Bristolville Church of the Brethren officiating. Interment will follow at Kerr Cemetery in Mineral Ridge. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday and 9:00 to 10:00 AM Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market St., Boardman, Ohio 44512.
