Wells R. Young

Wells "Rick" Young, 51, of Warren, died Sunday, September 16, 2007 after a brief illness. He was born July 20, 1956 in Warren, the son of Wells W. and Margaret (Sayers) Young, and had lived in the Warren area his entire life.

Mr. Young had been self-employed as a carpenter. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, the Cleveland Browns, and spending time with his daughter.

Surviving are his daughter, Hannah L. Young of Warren; four sisters: Debara (Jack) Whalen of Cortland, Hope J. (Larry) Metzler of Warren, Cydne L. (Jack) Nice of South Carolina, and Leiloni Young (fiance - Steve Kerr) of Niles; and his former wife, Tommie Wood of Sicklersville, N.J. Preceding him in death are his parents; a brother, Kenneth Gonsalves, and a nephew, Christopher Cope.
