Wayne Maylone

February 2, 1936 — September 6, 2008

Wayne Maylone, 72, of Warren and formerly of East Liverpool, died September 6, 2008 at Forum Health - Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren. He was born February 2, 1936 in East Liverpool, the son of Richard E. and Ethel Alice (Hale) Maylone.

Mr. Maylone attended Tennessee Tech, was a graduate of Youngstown State University, and taught science in the East Liverpool schools. He was an accomplished author who loved listening to classical music, and had a great influence on his students, nieces, and nephews.

He was very much loved and will be sadly missed by four nieces: Robin (James) Davis of Poland, Ronna (Earl) Liston of Hubbard, Roxanne Datchuk of Niles, and Kathy Kwasnik of Akron; two nephews, Richard (Stephanie) Maylone of Champion and Steve Kwasnik of Guilford Lake; a sister-in-law, Dorothea Maylone of Austintown; and his cat, Betty, who has been his constant companion for the last ten years. Preceding him in death are his parents; a sister, Marlene Kwasnik; and a brother, Ronald Maylone.

At his request, his body has been donated to science through the Cleveland Clinic. Services will be scheduled at a later date. Burial of his urn will take place at Spring Hill Cemetery in Wellsville.

The family would like thank his many friends and the staff at Horizon Village in Howland for their love and support for Wayne over the months and years.
