Wanita M. Jack-Wells, 77, of Warren, died Monday, October 5, 2009 at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown. She was born January 30, 1932 in Adrian, W. Va., the daughter of Troy C. and Ada M. (Ware) Linger, and had lived in Trumbull County for over fifty years.
Wanita retired from Packard Electric as an inspector and attended Believers Christian Fellowship. She enjoyed hanging out with her great-grandson and her great-nephews.
Surviving are her husband, Arthur Wells of Cortland; three sons: Robert Jack of Colorado, Dale Jack of Warren, and Gary Jack of Cleveland; two grandsons, Bobby Jack and his fiance Ann Killeen, and Danny Jack; a great-grandson, Brycen Jack; two brothers, Richard (Patty) Linger of Martinsburg, W. Va., and Hoye (Violet) Linger of West Farmington; two nieces, Trish (Brent) Sheely and Jenny Linger; four nephews: Danny, Kenny, Jerry, and Paul Linger; and two great-nephews, Jaden and Dalton Sheely. Preceding her in death are her parents, a sister, a brother; and a nephew, Troy Linger.
Services are 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 9, 2009 at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, with Rev. Brian Waddell officiating. Interment will follow at Meadow Brook Memorial Park. Friends may call 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Material contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 525 N. Broad St., Canfield, Ohio 44406.
