Wallace Hacker

Wallace R. Hacker, 77, formerly of Warren, died at 10:40 PM, on Sunday, November 30, 2003 at Sharon Regional Hospital in Sharon, Pa.

He was born on Saturday, August 7, 1926, in Lockwood, Ohio, the son of the late John and Marcia (Knapp) Hacker.

Before retiring, Mr. Hacker had worked for ITT Grinnell as a tow motor operator.

Surviving Mr. Hacker are a son, Rickey Hacker of Lordstown; a daughter, Gloria Hacker of Sharon, Pa.; two sisters: Katherine Shaffer of Austintown and Janet Galagher of Texas; and a granddaughter, Tara Hacker in the U.S. Navy.

Preceding Mr. Hacker in death are his parents; a brother, Robert Hacker; and his former wife, Helen Hacker.

Services for Mr. Hacker will be 1:00 PM Thursday, December 4, 2003 at the McFarland and Son Funeral Home, 271 North Park Avenue, Warren, Ohio 44481. Friends may call at the funeral home an hour before the service. Burial will follow at Pine Knoll Cemetery.
