Walter Paul Lewis, 79, formerly of Warren, Ohio, died Friday, January 6, 2006, at his residence in Sarasota, Florida. He was born August 10, 1926 in Warren, Ohio to the late W.I. and Ruth Campbell Lewis.

He was Vice-President of the W.I. Lewis Electrical Company. Paul was a graduate of Warren G. Harding High School. He was a former member of the First Methodist Church in Warren, a member of The Church Of The Palms in Sarasota, a member of the Howland Rotary Club, and a World War II Navy veteran.

Paul is survived by his wife, Joy Wacker Lewis who he married on May 1, 1996; a daughter, Paula (Jim) Shivers of Salem, Ohio, two grandchildren, Connor and Meredith Shivers; a step daughter, Wendy
(Joe) Gains of Copley, Ohio, two step grandchildren, Jeffrey and Jason Bogniard; and two brothers, Dr. Roger (Barbara) Lewis of Cortland, Ohio and David (Virginia) Lewis of Denver, Colorado. He was preceded in death by his first wife Kathleen Walters who he married on October 1, 1949 She passed away March 14, 1983.

Visitation will be at the McFARLAND & SON FUNERAL HOME, 271 N. Park Ave., Warren, OH on Tuesday, January 17, 2006 from 12:00 PM to 1:00
PM with a Memorial Service to be held at 1 PM with The Rev. Jerry H.Kruse officiating. Private burial will follow at Crown Hill Burial Park, Vienna, Ohio

A Memorial service will also be held at The Church Of The Palms, 3224 Bee Ridge Road, Sarasota, Florida. at 11 AM on Friday, January 27, 2006.
