Virginia M. "Ginny" Craig, 88, formerly of Warren, went home to be with her Lord Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati. She was born April 8, 1920 in Cleveland, the daughter of George Forbis and Grace (Montague) Craig, and had lived all her life in Warren until moving to Cincinnati last November.
Miss Craig had been a member of the Trumbull County Historical Society, the Western Reserve Chapter of the Daughters of the American Colonists, and the Colonial Dames XVII Century. An avid coin collector, she was interested in genealogy and had a museum-worthy collection of items from the Connecticut Western Reserve. She loved the Lord and worshiped with the North-Mar Church of the Christian & Missionary Alliance.
Surviving are three cousins: Herbert Craig II of Middlefield, Thomas P. Craig of Vienna, and W.S. "Sam" Craig of Berkeley, Calif.; her faithful four-legged companions, Stormy and Pepper; and many, many friends. Her parents and other loved ones precede her in death.
