Violet T. Poulson

Violet T. Poulson, 46, of Warren, died after a brief illness on January 3, 2006. She was born January 19, 1959 in Warren, the daughter of Eugene and Frances K. Burrows Graham, and lived in the Warren area most of her life.

Violet worked for WJ Service Co. as a cleaner, and formerly worked at the Social Security office. She attended Warren Wesleyan Methodist Church and had graduated from the Christian Academy College. She loved Christmas and all other holidays and held toy parties every year for Christmas. She had made quilts for all her family. She enjoyed writing and had hoped to write books.

Violet will be sadly missed by her son, Donald J. Poulson of Warren; a brother, Gary (Pat) Graham of Warren; a sister, Wanda (Albert) Parrish of Dorset; and three grandchildren.

Preceding her in death are her parents and her husband, Donald Lee Poulson, who died August 6, 1980.

Services will be held 12:00 Noon Tuesday, January 10, 2006 at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, with Rev. F. James Grimes of New Hope Free Methodist Church officiating. Interment at Crown Hill Burial Park will follow. Friends may call at the funeral home 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon Tuesday. Material contributions may be made to Warren Family Mission, 361 Elm Rd.
