Victor J. Teachout

Cortland - Victor J. Teachout, age 79 of Cortland, OH, passed away Monday, July 31, 2006 in Lake Vista of Cortland. He was born February 18, 1927 in Youngstown, Ohio, the son of the late Leo and Margaret Gorman Teachout Sr.

Mr. Teachout was a World War II veteran of the US Navy serving in the Asiatic Pacific Area.

Surviving are Sons, Raymond (Vera) Teachout of North Canton, OH, David (Enufria) Teachout of Cortland, OH, Daughter, Vicki Ann Teachout of Cincinnati, OH, Sister, Isobel Williams of Cortland, OH, Sister, Nancy Kacher of Mecca, OH, Brother, Richard Teachout, NC, Five Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death on June 28, 2005 by his wife, Mary Lou (Williams) Teachaout whom he married October 21, 1950 at St. Mary's Church and 5 Brothers and 3 Sisters.

Friends will be received 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM Thursday, in the narthex of Blessed Sacrament Church and services will be held Thursday, August 3, 2006 at 10:30 AM with Rev. Fr. Donald King officiating. Inurnment committal services will follow in the All Souls Cemetery, Cortland, OH
