Victor Huzvar, 90, of Warren, died Friday, December 23, 2011 at Laurie Ann Nursing Home in Newton Falls. He was born March 30, 1921 in Etna, Pa., the son of Andrew and Francisca (Zackacovsky) Huznar, and had lived in Trumbull County most of his adult life.
A World War II veteran of the U.S. Army, Mr. Huzvar worked as a painter for Ajax TOCCO Magnethermic Corporation. He attended Parkman Road Church of Christ and enjoyed gardening.
Surviving are his wife, Mary (Romansik) Huzvar, whom he married March, 1947; two children: June (Richard) Hunt of Newport, Calif. and Victor Andrew Huzvar of Glendale, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him death are two sisters: Margaret and Lillian Huzvar; and two brothers: John and George Huzvar.
Services followed by interment will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at Meadow Brook Memorial Park. Full military honors will also be conferred.
