Vera Craig

Vera T. (Tidd) Craig, age 82, of Vienna, Ohio, died Sunday, November 2, 2003, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital-Forum Center in Warren, Ohio.

Mrs. Craig was born February 2, 1921 in Vienna, the daughter of the late Carl W. and Clara Huffman Tidd. Mrs. Craig had been employed in the base supply office at the Vienna Air Base. She was a member of the Vienna United Methodist Church and the Trumbull County Historical and Genealogical Society. .

Surviving Mrs. Craig are her husband, Thomas Craig, who she married October 14, 1954; a daughter, Mary (Jay) Firzlaff of Kent; a sister, Louise Dray of Vienna; a brother, Carlton H. Tidd of Arvada, Colorado; and two grandsons: Jeffrey Firzlaff of Stow and Douglas (Rochelle) Firzlaff of Streetsboro.

Preceding Mrs. Craig in death are her parents and a sister, Geraldine Schuller.

Arrangements are being handled by MCFARLAND AND SON FUNERAL HOME, 271 NORTH PARK AVENUE, WARREN, Ohio, where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, November 4, 2003. Friends may also call one hour before the 11:00 AM service Wednesday at the Vienna United Methodist Church, 4265 Warren-Sharon Rd., Vienna, with Rev. Bruce J. McLaughlin officiating. Cremation has taken place. Inurnment will follow at a later date at Oakwood Cemetery in Warren.
