Velta Jo Fancher

WARREN - Velta J. Fancher, 61, passed away Thursday, November 20, 2014 at her residence. She was born on August 26, 1953 in Madison, Indiana, the daughter of the late James and Edith Fancher.

Velta was a 1972 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School. She held various jobs over the years. She enjoyed going to flea markets especially with her late Uncle Joe, and was an avid reader.

Memories of Velta will be carried on by her brother, James T. (Marilyn) Fancher, Jr. of Madison, IN; nieces, Kathy Welch, Carly Bailey; plus other friends and relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; uncles, Joseph Campana, Robert Campana, and David Campana.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, December 8, 2014 from 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm at McFarland & Son Funeral Home. Services of final committal will be held graveside on Tuesday, December 9, 2014, 10:00 am at St. Mary's Cemetery, Warren.
