Thomas Andrew Ohlin

Warren, Ohio - Thomas Andrew Ohlin, 45, died Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. He was born on February 13, 1972 in Warren, Ohio, the son of George and the late Margaret Kelly Ohlin.

Tom had an infinite capacity for happiness. He befriended everyone he met and loved without prejudice.

Tom was a 1994 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School and Trumbull Vocational School. He had a very strong work ethic which was noted by both employers and customers equally. He worked for 13 years at Burlington Coat Factory in Niles. In August 2016, Tom retired from his job at McDonalds in McKinley Heights.

Preceded in death by his beloved mother Margaret "Peggy", his maternal and paternal grandparents. He is survived by his father George and step-mother Nancy Beatty. His siblings, Daniel (Alice) Akron, OH, Judy McSween (Michael) Charleston, SC, Charles, Warren, OH, Edward "Ted" (MaryJo) Champion, OH, Marty (Hillary) Forest Hills, NY, Katie (Vince) Warren, OH, Patrick (Jessica) St. Davids, PA. Drew Beatty (Katie) Sidney, ME, Amanda Beatty (Bethaney) Warren, OH and George Beatty-Marsh, Warren, OH.

More than anything, Tom loved his entire family. He was especially devoted to his nieces and nephews who appreciated his wit and wisdom. He will be missed by Daniel, Killian, Matthew, Elizabeth, Shea, Ryan, Aidan, Erin, Devin, Henry, Mallory, Isabelle, Vinny, Grace, Sofia, Emery, Everett and Niko.

All who knew him are welcome to join family at McFarland & Son Funeral Home from 5PM -8PM Wednesday, March 8th, and from 10 am till 11:00 at the church on Thursday. A Mass for Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am on Thursday, March 9th. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton Parish - St. James. Burial will follow at All Souls Cemetery, Cortland.
