Thomas L. Bator

Thomas L. Bator, 61, of Warren, died at his home Wednesday, September 15, 2010. He was born June 11, 1949 in Warren, the son of the late Joseph L. and Justine Krafcik Bator.

He was a 1967 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School and attended Believers Christian Fellowship. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he was stationed in Germany during the Viet Nam Era, and later served in the U.S. Air Force Reserve.

He was an accomplished artist, a member of the Trumbull Art Guild, and active with the Salvation Army and the Animal Welfare League.

He is survived by his sisters: Patricia Bator of Warren, Sandra Clark of Vienna, and Connie (Pat) Boyd of Warren; two brothers, Joel (Nancy) Bator of Braceville and Robert "Tony" Bator of Warren; several nieces and nephews; and his dog, Princess. Preceding him in death are his sister, Kim Marie, and his brother, Major Steven Bator.

At his request, cremation is taking place. Services are private. Material contributions may be made in his name to the Salvation Army, 270 Franklin S.E., Warren, Ohio 44483, or to the Animal Welfare League, 545 Brunstetter S.W., Warren, Ohio 44481.
