Thema L. Rudolph

Cortland Ohio - Thelma L. Rudolph , 97, died Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at Lake Vista.. She was born on April 1, 1919 in Haworth, Oklahoma the daughter of the late Bird and Ruby Gilbert Gordon.

Thelma was raised on a farm in Oklahoma and picked cotton and where she graduated from Cosmetology School. Soon after her marriage to Walter Rudolph on December 31, 1943. She moved to Trumbull Co., Ohio and lived in Newton Falls, Cortland, and Mecca. Her husband preceded her in death on August 31, 1979. She enjoyed reading, gardening, playing cards and watching Joel Osteen on TV. She was a superior seamstress and a 4-H member and adviser for many years..

Memories of Thelma will be carried on by four daughters, Kathy (Clinton) Fowler of Bristolville, Judy (Rick) Smith of Mecca, Rita (William, Jr.) Barnes of Sevierville, TN. and June (Joseph) Delduca of St. George, Utah, along with fifteen grandchildren, and twenty three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one brother, four sisters, and her husband, Walter M. Rudolph.

Family will receive friends Saturday, October 29, 2016 from 10:00 am til 11:30 am at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, Warren and services will be held at 11:30 am following the visitation. Services of final committal will follow at Crown Hill Burial Park.
