Sylvia Grace Fleischer

WARREN - Sylvia G. "Grace" Fleischer, 97, passed away quietly on Sunday, June 23, 2013 at Community Skills Nursing Home. Grace was born on March 23, 1916 in Williamsburg, PA, the daughter of Charles E. Huston & Hattie (Myers) Huston.

Grace was a 1934 graduate of Harding High School and had worked for Packard Electric, division of GM, as a press operator until she retired in 1976. She was a member of SCOPE, and attended First United Church of Christ. Grace married George Fleischer in 1938 and spent many happy years with him until his death in 1976.

Memories of Grace will be carried on by her children, daughter; Donna (Jack) Rising of Warren, and daughter in law: Joyce (Mark) Fleischer of Niles, grandchildren; Keith (Denise) Rising of Warren, and Brian (Amanda) Rising of Fredrick, MD, 8 great-grandchildren, and loyal friend, Elvina Casagranda, of many, many years. She will also be sadly missed by many other friends and relatives.

Preceding her in death were her parents, and sons, George Jr. and Mark E., sister; Evelyn Noble, and brothers; Leslie Huston, Nelson Huston, Robert Huston, and Frank Huston.
