Suzanne L. Diguls-Urey

Suzanne L. Diguls-Urey, 51, of Warren, died Thursday, December 8, 2011 at Hospice House in Poland, after a courageous battle with cancer. Her loving family was with her when she passed. She was born November 28, 1960 in Cleveland, the daughter of Donats and Joanna (Sluka) Diguls, and had lived in northeast Ohio all her life.

A home care giver for Leeda Northeast and Admire Residential, Suzanne enjoyed animals, cooking, and the Cleveland Browns. She would do anything to help others. She was an excellent gardener who loved to plant flowers. Her pride and joy were her two grandchildren and her two four-legged children.

Surviving are her husband, Thomas J. Urey, Sr., whom she married January 3, 1981; three children: Melanie J. Diguls (Brian Budd) of Warren, Thomas J. Urey, Jr. (Briana Harrington) of Niles, and Randy L. Urey of Warren; two grandchildren: Corey M. Lilley and Chloe J. Urey; four sisters: Annie (Ron) Brown of Arizona, Rita Harris of Willowick, Mary (George) Zdesar of Dayton, and Digna (Nick) Falk of Avon; and two brothers: John Diguls of Tennessee and Peter Diguls of Willoughby Hills. Preceding her in death are her parents; a son, Donnie Urey; and a brother-in-law, Billy Harris.

Services are 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 15, 2011 at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, with Fr. Andrew Deskevich of SS Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church officiating.
