Susan M Timko

Susan M. Timko, 69, passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at St. Joseph’s Health Center in Warren. She was born August 12, 1949 in Warren, and was the daughter of the late Stephen and Mary Margaret “Peggy” Spurrier Timko.

Susan graduated from JFK High and went to work for Packard Electric and attended college. She soon became a “stay at home mom” and devoted her time and efforts to her family. Susan cherished her family gatherings and outings and was very involved with her grandchildren and great grandchild and enjoyed every moment with them. During her quiet times her passion was sewing and doing crafts. She loved a good game of bingo now and again and she enjoyed traveling with the family.

Memories of Susan will be carried on by her four children; Melissa (Jim) Hickman of Amherst, Kevin (April ) Pounds of Colorado Springs, CO, Stephanie (James Dick) of Cortland, and Jason (fiancée Jennifer Aston) Coffee of Leavittsburg; her 19 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; her sisters; Joanne Timko of Warren, Margaret (Greg) Foster of Champion, and Marybeth (David) Trask of Warren, and her brothers; Stephen Timko of Aliquippa, PA, and John (Brenda) Timko of Orwell.

She was preceded in death by parents; Stephen and Mary Margaret “Peggy” Spurrier Timko.

The family suggests contributions be made in the form of donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
