Susan Lyn Sprankle

Susan Lyn (Hyde) Sprankle, 63, passed away on March 11th, 2025 at St. Joseph Hospital in Warren, Ohio. She was born in Akron, Ohio to the late Frederic Hyde and Lulu Belle (Hoskins) Hyde on July 18th, 1961.

Susan was a graduate of Newton Falls High School and spent 30 years working in retail. She met her husband, John Sprankle, in 1988 and went on to marry him on November 21st, 1991, spending nearly 40 years together, creating a lifetime of memories.

Susan held many interests, such as shopping, enjoying a good meal, keeping up with her friends, a love for all genres of music, but she especially loved spending time with her family, whom state that she “went out of her way to help people.”

Susan will be remembered by her husband, her daughter Chelsea (Spencer) Sprankle, honorary daughter Susan (Chris) Novak, her siblings, Frederic (Cheryl) Hyde, Bob Hyde, Alan Hyde, and Teresa (Jay) Byrne, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Susan is preceded in death by her parents, a sister Mary Novak, and a son Johnny Sprankle III.
