Susan M. Sinovec, 69, of Champion, died Monday, October 24, 2011 at home. She was born November 13, 1941 in Warren, the daughter of Clyde and Rita (Quilligan) Jackson, and had lived in Trumbull County most of her life.
A graduate of St. Mary's High School, Mrs. Sinovec had worked as an accountant for the Department of Health & Human Services in Denver, Colo. She enjoyed reading, cooking, collecting dolls, and spending time with family and friends.
Surviving are her husband, Edward M. Sinovec, whom she married June 8, 1961; four sons: Michael (Sherry) of Arizona, Daniel of Colorado, and Robert and Joseph, both of Ohio; five grandchildren: Cayle (David) Baedeker, and Aspen, Geno, Spencer, and Azlyn Sinovec; and a brother Clyde F. Jackson of Bazetta. Preceding her in death are her parents and a daughter, Angel Sinovec.
Services are 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 31, 2011 at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, with Fr. Bernard Schmalzried officiating. Interment will follow at Meadow Brook Memorial Park. Friends may call 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Material contributions may be made to the Department of Veterans Affairs, 810 Vermont Ave. N.W., Washington, D.C. 20420.
