Susan Gorrell

CHAMPION, OH - Susan K. Gorrell, 55, passed quietly away on Friday, May 24,2013 at Hospice House in Poland. She was born on September 23, 1957 in Warren to William and Norma (Wilcox) Barnes, Sr.

Susan was a graduate of Champion High School in 1975. and a devoted mother to her children. She loved spending time with her family and friends and being outdoors and landscaping.

Loving memories of Susan will be carried on by her daughter, Elizabeth (Daniel) VanKirk of Warren; son, Matthew Gorrell of Champion; parents, William and Norma Barnes of Cortland; brother, William (Rita) Barnes, Jr. of Sevierville, TN; sister, Barbara (Jon) Timcisko of New Middletown, OH; plus many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, Gregory Barnes.

The family will receive friends, Tuesday, May 28, 2013 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at The McFarland & Son Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 7:00 PM with the Rev. Rick Oaks officiating.
