Susan R. Eckenrode

Susan R. Eckenrode of Niles passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at 2:45 p.m. in her residence with her loving family by her side. She was 67.

Susan was born on November 14, 1951 in Warren, the daughter of the late Jack and Claudia Adams Williams Clark.

She attended Howland School Systems. Ms. Eckenrode was employed in the food services division of the former Glenn View Manor and earlier in life Susan was employed in the health and beauty section of the Macali’s Giant Eagle. Both jobs she proudly held for many years.

Ms. Eckenrode enjoyed the relaxation of spending time tending to her vegetables and flowers in her garden. Susan would also assemble beautiful crafts and vases of flowers for display.

She is survived by a daughter, Michelle (Roger) Sigley of Niles; a son Thomas Eckenrode of Niles; 5 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Susan was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Clark; a sister, Deborah Walton.

At Susan’s request there will be no calling hours or funeral service.
