Stanley L. Stambolia

WARREN - Stanley L. Stambolia, 63, died Saturday, March 8, 2014 after a long illness. He was born on October 19, 1950 in Youngstown, and was the son of the late Leo and Katherine (Shackelford) Stambolia.

Stanley attended Warren Western Reserve High School. He enjoyed playing darts, shooting pool and, was an avid reader.

Memories of Stanley will be carried on by wife, Delorse "Dory" (Gordon) Stambolia of Warren whom he married on June 27, 1980, 3 sons; Shawn Stambolia, of Warren, Steven (Virginia) Stambolia of Braceville, and Scott Jacobsen of Warren, 2 brothers; Michael John and Lee Wayne Stambolia both of Leavittsburg, 3 sisters; Mary Ann (Chuck) Anthony, Lori (Jodi) Johnson, Bonnie Stambolia all of Warren, 8 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.

Preceding Stanley in death are 1 grandson, 1 brother, and 1 daughter-in-law.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, March 13, 2014 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm at McFarland & Son Funeral Home in Warren. Cremation will follow the services.
