Stanley E. Bodzenta

Stanley Bodzenta, 88, of Warren, died at his daughter's home in West Farmington at 9:00 AM Monday, November 7, 2005. He was born May 26, 1917 in Coal Run, Pennsylvania, the son of Walter and Anna Bodzenta.

Stanley graduated from Paris High School and was owner of Stanley Bodzenta Upholstery for over 50 years. He belonged to the Warren Rotary Club, where he had been Sergeant-at-Arms for over 25 years. He had taught job skills and English to immigrants at the Rebecca Williams Center, and had been a Paul Harris Award winner.

Stanley will be sadly missed by his children: Marbeth (Roger) Dailey of West Farmington and Larry E. (Vicky) Bodzenta of Sheffield Lake, Ohio; four grandchildren: Amy Laws of Amherst, Ohio, Christopher Bodzenta of Sheffield Lake, Mary Kathryn Dailey of West Farmington, and Brendan M. Dailey of Bangkok, Thailand; Five Great-Grandchildren; a sister, Irene Dillon of Newton Falls, and a brother, John Bodzenta of Warren.

Preceding him in death are his parents; his wife, Mary Emma Singer Bodzenta, whom he married April 5, 1941 and who passed away June 1, 1993; five sisters: Helen Prusky, Stella Dillon, Jenny Kovacs, Mary Hryckowian, and Millie Miskovich.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, November 10, 2005 at McFarland & Son Funeral Home where the family will also greet friends from 11:30 am until 1:00 PM. Interment at Pine Knoll Cemetery in Leavittsburg will follow.
