Stanford "Ray" Ray Pugh

Standford Ray Pugh, 85, of Austintown, Ohio, passed away peacefully at Victoria House Assisted Living Facility on April 27, 2019. The son of Clyde and Josephine (Hanger) Pugh, was born on December, 10, 1933 in Somerset, PA

Ray was a veteran serving his country during the Korean War. When he returned from serving his country he began working at LTV Steel and retired after many years of service. He was a lifelong resident of the Warren and Lordstown area. In his free time he enjoyed fishing, hunting, dancing, and gardening.

Memories of Ray will be carried on by his daughter; Roxanna (Mark) Holton of Lordstown; grandchildren; Jaclyn (David) Woodward of Lordstown, and William Holton of Lordstown; great grandchildren; Brandon, Laynie, Kaitlyn, Tyler, Rush, and Violet.

Sister; Geraldine (Robert) Cramer of Cortland; brother; Donald (Patty) Pugh of McDonald.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister; Flora Jewell; brothers; Manford, Robert, and Glenn Pugh.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Victoria House Assisted Living in Austintown where Ray made his home and to Buckeye Hospice and Palliative Care.

It was Ray’s wishes for his friends and family to remember him in happier times and, for this, there will be no services.
