Stacy Lynn Snider-Barnes

Stacy Lynn Snider-Barnes of Niles passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at 4:11 p.m. in her residence. She was 51 years old.

Stacy was born on June 9, 1969 in Warren, the daughter of William Edward and Nancy K. Fischer Snider.

She was a 1987 graduate of Niles McKinley High School. Mrs. Barnes was employed as a team leader at the General Motors Lordstown Plant and more recently was employed in the transmission assembly department of the General Motors Toledo Plant.

Stacy was a member of St. Stephen Church. Stacy was a kind and generous person, always willing to help others in need. Through UAW Local 1112, Stacy would purchase winter hats, coats, and mittens to be distributed to area families. She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and loved collecting anything to do with Scooby Doo. She had a love for animals especially her Dachshunds, Bruiser and Willie. Stacy was loved by so many people and will be deeply missed by all those that knew her.

She is survived by her husband Thomas Barnes, whom she married October 31, 2015; her mother, Nancy Snider of Niles; a step daughter, Brittany Gould of Warren; a sister, Lisa K. (Heinz) Scheidegger of Fowler; 2 brothers, Edward W. (Heather) Snider of Niles and Charles “Chad” Snider of Newton, NJ; 4 grandchildren, Sophia, Lyla, Berman, and Connor; 5 nieces and nephews, Zachary, William, Jacob, Addison Crain, and Halle Snider; a sister in law, Candy Peyatt.

In addition to her father, Stacy was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Norman and Virginia Snider; maternal grandparents, Charles and Dorothy Fischer; mother-in-law and father-in-law Nancy and James Barnes; her 2 dachshunds Abbey and Urpie.

Calling hours will be on Sunday, November 15, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Wm Nicholas Funeral Home & Cremation Services. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday in the funeral home.
