Scott D. Hall

Scott D. Hall of Newton Falls passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2016 in his residence. He was 54.

Mr. Hall was born in Warren on January 31, 1962, the son of David and Elaine Brothers Hall.

He was a graduate of Chalker High School; he obtained certification from Trumbull County Joint Vocational School in Building Trades.

Earlier in life Scott was employed as a carpenter.

Mr. Hall loved the Lord and attended First Assembly of Warren Church. He was an avid Ohio State, Cleveland Browns, Indians fan. He cherished the time he spent with his family, especially his children and grandchildren. In his spare time he enjoyed fixing various things around the house, riding motorcycles and cooking.

He is survived by his wife, Melissa S. Garland Hall, whom he married in 2004;7 children, Rachel Blockinger of Cortland, Stephanie A. Hall of Howland, Jessica Hall of Warren, Haley Palm of Vienna, Trevor Hall of Warren, Erica Hall of Warren, and Joshua D. Hall of Newton Falls; His mother, Elaine (Gary) Mansfield of Southington; a step mother, Karen Hall of Southington; 3 sisters, Cindy (Clarence) Speaker, Melissa Peace, and Shelly Hall all of Southington; 6 grandchildren, David Hall, Anna Hall, Jayden Blockinger, Jordan Blockinger, Jaxen Blockinger, and Cora Hall.

He was preceded in death by his father.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. in the Warren First Assembly of God Church 2640 Parkman Rd. NW Warren, OH 44485. Calling hours will be a half hour prior to the service in the church.

Inurnment will take place in Graham Cemetery at a later date.
