Sandra E. Crist

Sandra E. Crist, 53, of Warren, died Tuesday, February 3, 2010 at home. She was born January 14, 1957 in Batavia, N.Y., the daughter of Arthur John and Faye Anne (Penders) Sheridan.

Ms. Crist had been a caretaker for many families, and had worked in the schools as a noon aide. She enjoyed music, cooking, writing poetry and music, and riding motorcycles.

Surviving are her mother, Faye Anne Thompson of Batavia; six children: Tonya Klein of Rochester, N.Y., Kristy Greene of Warren, Richard Greene, Jr. and Marcella Greene, both of Warsaw, N.Y., Ashley Wiant of Alabama, and Brandi Wiant of Warren; fourteen grandchildren; a sister, Tara (Daniel) Bowen of Batavia; her stepfather, James Thompson of Pavilion, N.Y.; and a stepbrother, Ron Knicely of Warren. Her father precedes her in death.

A memorial service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, February 4, 2010 at McFarland & Son Funeral Home. Friends may call 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
