Salvatore P. Wright, 86, of Brookfield, died Monday, June 25, 2012 at the Cleveland Clinic. He was born November 26, 1925 in Weirton, W. Va., the son of Sam and Gertrude (Gabriel) Wright, and had lived in Trumbull County since 1971.

A veteran of the U.S. Army, Mr. Wright had worked in public education and higher education.

He is survived by his wife, Mary (Pasquale) Wright; a son, Dr. Paul Andrew (Gayle) Wright, M.D.; a granddaughter, Maria Alana (Mark) Ceraolo; and a brother, Joseph Wright. A brother, Ray Wright, and a sister, Mary Wright, precede him in death.

At Mr. Wright's request, there will be no public calling hours or services. There will be private services for immediate family only. In his memory, material contributions may be made to Mother Teresa's Missionaries of Charity, 335 E. 145th St., Bronx, N.Y. 10451.
