Salvador A. McKenney

Salvador A. McKenney, 91, of Bristolville, died peacefully, Thursday, February 17, 2011 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital, Warren, OH. He was born September 15, 1919 to James and Bessie (Anderson) McKenney at Sebasco Estates, ME.

Salvador worked as a Reelman and in the Plating Dept. at Thomas Steel and retired from Kennametal Products. He was a Veteran of the Army during WW II where he served in the Pacific Theater.

Salvador was married to the former Alice Marion Sharon who preceded in death April 3, 1995, He is survived by 2 daughters - Dixie May Bigelow of Newton Falls, Dolores Campbell of Portal, GA; and brother - Melville C. McKenney of, PA; 5 grandchildren - 9 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren, and 1 great, great, great grandchild. He was also preceded in death by 2 grandchildren

Funeral services will be held Noon, Monday, February 21, 2011 at the Freewill Baptist Church, 2087 Ohio 88 Bristolville, OH. Graveside funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM at the Meadow Brook Memorial Park, Champion Twp. OH where Full Military Honors will be presented.
