Sally Cope

Warren- Sally Ann Cope, 68 of Warren passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at St Joseph's Care Center surrounded by her loving family Sally was born in Warren, Ohio on July 20, 1947 to Roger and Agnes (Herbert) Wright. She was employed at Trumbull Correctional Institute for 22 years as a Supervising Lieutenant, retiring in 2014.
Sally enjoyed her job and working and loved spending time with her family.
Left to cherish her memories are her children, Lynne Ritter of Champion, Larry "Gus" Cope of Warren, Jim Cope, Jr. of North Dakota., Todd (Angela) Cope of Warren, Angela Paige of Warren, Matthew Cope of Boardman, Joshua Cope of Warren and Jacqui (Kenny) Lincoln of Niles. She also leaves two sisters, Rena (Joe) Wehner of Hiram, Mary (John) Wajda of Johnston, and two brothers, Roger (Trudy) Wright, Jr. of Niles and Herb (Shelley) Wright of West Mecca. Sally will be greatly missed by her 21 grandchildren and her 13 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 1, 2016 from 4-6 PM at McFarland & Son Funeral Home. A celebration of life ceremony will take place following at 6PM.
The family has requested that material contributions be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 381005 or to Akron's Children's Hospital 1 Perkins Square Akron, OH 44308.
