Russell D. Weaver

Russell D. Weaver, 87, of Warren, died Tuesday, June 27, 2006 at home. He was born August 30, 1917 in Punxsutawney, Pa., the son of George and Otie Coontz Weaver, and had lived in Trumbull County since 1952.

Mr. Weaver had worked in sales for J.C. Penney for over 60 years. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

Surviving are his daughter-in-law, Janet Weaver; two grandchildren: Michelle (David) Albert and Jay (Jana) Weaver; and two great-grandchildren: Jaden Weaver and Andrew Albert. Preceding him in death are his parents; his wife, Agatha Sheofsky Weaver, whom he married September 12, 1941 and who died April 22, 2001; a son, Dennis Weaver; a brother, George Weaver; and two sisters: Bernice Henry and Edith Rossiter.

Services will be 10:30 AM Friday, June 30, 2006 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 1401 Moncrest N.W., Warren, Ohio 44485, with Fr. William Loveless officiating. Interment will follow at All Souls Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association, 3695 Boardman Canfield Rd., Canfield, Ohio 44406.
