Rose A. Stroud

Rose A. Stroud, 71, of Warren, was ushered into the fullness of the Lord's presence at 10:40 PM Thursday, March 11, 2004.

She was born Friday, February 3, 1933, in Windsor, Ohio, the daughter of the late William McKinley and Clara Yeager Huntington.

Mrs. Stroud had worked at Cortland Banks for many years as a personnel and human resources officer. She enjoyed serving her church, gardening, and traveling.

Surviving Mrs. Stroud are her son, David E. (Anna) Peterson of Warren; two daughters: Nancy M. (Michael) Kotapish of Cortland and Debbie A. (Brian) DeCiancio of Howland; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ruby Hopes of Orwell.

Preceding Mrs. Stroud in death are her parents; her husband, Rev. Lemuel Stroud, who died in 1995; a sister, Mary Huntington; and a brother, Richard Huntington.

Services for Mrs. Stroud will be 11:00 AM Monday, March 15, 2004 at McFarland and Son Funeral Home, 271 North Park Avenue, Warren, Ohio 44481, with Rev. Rick Oaks of First United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow at Windsor Township Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 5:00 to 7:00 PM Sunday and 10:00 to 11:00 AM Monday.
