Rosanna L. Chegar

Rosanna L. Chegar, 72, of Warren, died Sunday, August 8, 2010 at St. Joseph Health Center. She was born November 10, 1937 in Warren, the daughter of Michael M. and Anne (Moldovan) Chegar, Sr., and had lived in the Warren area all her life.

A 1955 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School, Ms. Chegar worked as a secretary for Mahoning Lighting, retiring in 2002. She was a member of Tod Avenue United Methodist Church and enjoyed spending time with her great-nephews, Patrick and Lucas. She loved unicorns and angels, and red roses always put a smile on her face.

Surviving are two brothers: Michael (Sharon) M. Chegar, Jr. of Las Vegas, Nev. and Daniel T. (Carol) Chegar of Howland; one nephew; and five nieces. Her parents precede her in death.

A memorial service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 13, 2010 at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, with Rev. Mark Vincent officiating. A committal service and burial of her urn will follow at Pineview Memorial Park. Friends may call 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
