Ronald Lee "Thumper" Killin

Ronald Lee Killin of Niles passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on Monday, April 20, 2015 at 7:30 p.m. in his residence. He was 64.
Ron was born August 24, 1950, in Warren, OH, a son of Harry and Arlene Frampton Killin.
Mr. Killin retired after 27 years on the assembly line at the Lordstown General Motors Plant.
He was of Methodist faith. Ron was a member of the McKinley Heights Army Navy Union Garrison and ABATE of Ohio. Mr. Killin enjoyed fishing, working with his hands whether it be boats or automotive motors, he could fix just about anything. Family was very important to Ron, especially spending time with his grandchildren.
Surviving are: his wife of 35 years, Bonnie McElhaney Killin; 2 sons, Shane (Angela) Haynie of Austintown and Ronald Killin II and his companion Dani of Niles; a daughter, Tiffany Killin (Brandon Corbisello) of Niles; a brother Harry "Speeder" Killin of Girard, OH; 4 grandchildren, Madison, Mason, Lily, and Vincent.
In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by a brother, Richard "Dexter" Killin; a sister, Sandra "Buffy" Crain; 2 grandchildren, Nathan Tuchek and Shayna Lee Corbisello.

A funeral services will be held on Friday, April 24, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Curtis Miller, pastor of Fairview United Methodist Church.
