Ronald R. Chitwood

WARREN - Ronald R. Chitwood, 68, passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2015 at St. Joseph's Health Center. He was born on February 21, 1946 in Cleveland, the son of the late Samuel and Evelyn (Worman) Chitwood.

Ronald was a laborer for various industries over the years. He especially enjoyed working with horses.

Memories of Ronald will be carried on by his daughter, Evelyn C. Wright of Willoughby; daughter, Ronnetta I. (Chris) Kuntz of Struthers; daughter, Ronda D. (Michael) Vaughn of Warren; son, Jesse A. Chitwood of Warren; daughter, Jeana M. (James) Cunningham of Vienna; son, Daniel J. (Sarah) Chitwood of Liberty; daughter, Kimberly A. Chitwood of Braceville; brother, Russell Chitwood of Alliance; brother, Clifford "Doyle" Chitwood of Burton; brother, William Chitwood of Cleveland; 26 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; plus many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Ronald Chitwood, Jr.; and 3 sisters.

Family will receive friends on Monday, January 5, 2015 from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, Warren. A Funeral Service will follow at 6:00 pm at the funeral home.

His family suggests contributions be made in the form of donations to Huntington Bank to the Chitwood Fund.
