Robert W. Wright

Robert W. Wright, 63, known as "The Weather Man", died 11:07 AM Tuesday, May 9, 2006 at Washington Square Healthcare Center. He was born March 16, 1943 in Warren, the son of Hayes and Margaret V. Miller Wright, and had lived in the area his entire life.

Bob had been a utility worker for Automatic Vendors. One of the high points of his life was meeting Dick Goddard, whom he had watched on TV for over 40 years.

He is survived by his mother, Margaret Wright, of Warren; an aunt, Mari Lou Hall of Warren; four cousins: Mike (Linda) Welke, Nelson, Welke, Richard Black, all of Warren, and Chuck (Vickie) Bailey of Bristolville; and other family and friends. Preceding him in death are his father and his sister, Rebecca Ann Wright.

Inurnment will be private at Sager Cemetery in Bristolville.
