Robert E. Ward

Robert E. Ward, 58, of Champion, died Sunday, August 1, 2010 at his residence after a long illness. He was born September 1, 1951 in Warren, the son of Norman and Freda (Sampson) Ward.

He graduated from Champion High School and attended Youngstown University.

He is survived by a brother, Richard Ward of Champion; a sister, Norma Williams of Bristolville; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

His parents; a brother-in-law, Richard Williams; and a nephew, Darren Williams preceded him in death.

Rob enjoyed playing golf and a game of poker with his friends.

At Rob's request, there will be no services. The family will greet friends at a Celebration of His Life on Sunday, August 8, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the home of Norma Williams, 1750 Phelps Rd. Bristolville, Ohio.
