Robert A Twoey

Robert A. “Bobby” Twoey of Lordstown, passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 11:35 p.m. in his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was 59.

Mr. Twoey was born on December 22, 1956 in Euclid, OH, the son of the late Wallace and Dolores Auble Twoey.

He was a 1974 graduate of Euclid High School. Following high school, Bob proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He was honorably discharged in 1978 and at the time he had obtained the rank of Corporal. During his time in the Marine Corps he was trained in communications, the education he obtained in the military served him throughout his personal and professional life.

Mr. Twoey was employed for numerous years in the communications division of AT&T.

Bob found enjoyment collecting baseball cards, he was a Lionel Train enthusiast, and loved caring for and maintaining his saltwater fish and tank. Most importantly, spending time with family meant the world to Bob.

He is survived by his wife, Janette Parker Twoey, whom he married May 18, 1991; a daughter, Cassandra Twoey of Niles; a son, Richard Darbey and his fiancé Randi Hidasey of Niles; 3 sisters, Karen (Lou) Carr of Middleburg Heights, OH, Cheri (Frank) Mataraza of Chardon, OH, and Michele (Jim) Nichols of Chagrin Falls, OH; In addition, Bob is also survived by a longtime friend and fellow military veteran Tony Belardino.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
