Robert Leonard Stephens

Robert Leonard Stephens, 63, of Warren, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2009 at his home. He was born November 29, 1946 in Parkersburg, W. Va., the son of Robert Leroy and Mildred (Callihan) Stephens, and had lived in Trumbull County most of his life.

A graduate of McDonald High School, Robert was a very talented bench jeweler. Self-employed for many years, he eventually worked for Sterling (Leroy's) Jewelers, retiring in September, 2006.

Robert loved working with his hands and enjoyed restoring antique engines. He loved the outdoors, and traveling in search of gemstones. He had a great love for animals and had a very special bond with his precious dog, Jamie. He had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed making people laugh.

He will be sadly missed by his fiancee, Patricia DeMattio, and her daughter Lisa.
