Robert K. Purcell

Robert Kenneth Purcell, 76, formerly of Punta Gorda, FL, and Warren died Friday, Oct 29, 2010 in Hospice House, Youngstown, OH. He was born, Oct 20, 1934 in Niles, OH, the Son of the late William and Mabel (Bonner) Purcell.

Mr. Purcell graduated from Niles McKinley High School in 1953 and had formerly attended the Howland Baptist Church. He worked as a Group Leader for Van Huffel and retired in 1983 after 29 years. He then was a security guard for several firms in Warren and Florida.
Surviving are his 2 Sons, Kenneth (Sandra) Purcell of Youngstown, OH, Gary (Maxine) W. Purcell of Warren, OH; Daughter, Linda (Jeff) A. Kenney of Warren, OH; Brother, William (Bernice) Purcell of Beverly Hills, FL; 8 Grandchildren and 8, Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen (Slagle) Purcell whom he married 1955 and died Dec. 26, 2002.

Services will be held Monday, 10:00 AM, at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, with Rev James F. Baer officiating.
