If you knew him, then you'll miss him. Robert Lee McDonald, 49, passed away peacefully at home on Easter morning, April 4, 2010, after a lengthy illness. He was born September 28, 1960 in Warren, the son of Norma Rotunno and Robert McDonald.

Robert was a graduate of Howland High School and was employed by the Laborers Union of Alaska and Warren.

He is survived by his mother Norma Rotunno, with whom he resided; sisters Kathy Muntz of Southington; Sandra Rose of Oakland, Calif.; brother Jeff McDonald of San Francisco, Calif.; a step-sister Theresa Voneida of Kent; a step-brother Tony Rotunno of Meadville, Penn. and his step-mother Roberta Beckner of Cortland. He also leaves nieces Shean Scott of Hayward, Calif. and Carlynn Rose of Santa Barbara, Calif., and a nephew Zachary Muntz of Southington. Robert also leaves his dear friends the Blaneys, the DeScennas, the Orrs and others.

He was preceded in death by his father.

As per Robert's request, there will be no calling hours or services.
