WARREN - Robert Lee Dilley, 85 was called home to the Lord on February 14, 2017 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital following a short illness. Robert was born September 1, 1931 in Marlinton, West Virginia to Early Cecil and Lula Audrey Buzzard Dilley. Robert graduated from Marlinton High School in 1949.
Upon graduation, Robert served in the U. S. Coast Guard for over three years guarding the Atlantic coastlines.
Robert married Dreama Lou Carr on May 21, 1957 who preceded him in death on September 18, 1994. He retired from Packard Electric Division in Warren, Ohio on February 4, 1994.
Robert had seven siblings that preceded him in death. They were Mary Susan Colson (Andy), Gail Byrd Dilley (Annabelle), John Ralph Dilley (Jane), James L. Dilley, Jenny Lind Dilley, Early Cecil Jr. Dilley and Audrey M. Dilley.
He is survived by one son; Cecil Dilley (Tonya) Claremore, OK. And five daughters; Rebecca Crum (Dean) SLC, UT, Penny Critoph (John) Cedar Hill, TX, Judy Williams (Charles) Warren, Sandra Caputo (Michael) Chicago, IL, and Jennifer Davis (Bryan) Keller, TX. His two nephews; Kenneth (Margaret) Dilley of Beckley, W.Va., James (Barbara) Dilley of Cass, W.Va., and one niece Mary Anna (Don) of Detroit, MI.
Robert was the proud grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He enjoyed spending time with family while enriching their lives with stories of his life adventures, marriage and the many experiences he shared of growing up and raising his family.
He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who will be greatly missed by his friends and family.

Friends and family may call Sunday Feburary 19, 2017, 3:00 pm till 5:00 pm at McFarland & Son Funeral Home. A service of remembrance will be held on at 5:00 pm immediatley following the visitation with the Rev. Yesudas (Dan) Devadan officiating.
A gathering will be held on Monday, February 20, at 10:00 am at McFarland & Son Funeral Home for the procession to Crown Hill Burial Park for the service of final committal where he will be laid to rest beside his loving wife, Dreama.
